The McCrary Sisters and the Deadly Gentlemen
The McCrary Sisters are the daughters of the late Rev. Samuel McCrary, who was one of the original members of the legendary gospel quartet The Fairfield Four. The McCrary's home was filled with music, whether it was the Fairfield Four or frequent guests that included a pantheon of gospel greats, including Shirley Caesar and James Cleveland. Collectively the sisters have performed or recorded with Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Stevie Wonder, Ray Stevens, and others. The sisters' new album "All The Way," is the follow-up to 2011 debut CD and includes 10 McCrary originals. The Deadly Gentlemen are a 5 member folk and grass band out of Boston that have played with the likes of Crooked Still, Bruce Springsteen, Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers, Missy Raines, David Grisman and Tony Trischka Band. The band will be releasing their latest album 'Roll Me, Tumble Me' on Rounder Records.

Guy Davis, Si Kahn & The Looping Brothers, plus Sue Massek
Guy Davis has dedicated himself to reviving the traditions of acoustic blues and bringing them to as many ears as possible through the material of the great blues masters, African American stories, and his own original songs, stories and performance pieces. Guy has been recording since 1978 - he is a musician, composer, actor, director, and writer. 'Juba Dance' is Guy's latest, released by our friends at M.C. Records. It's a stripped down recording contain Guy's own compositions and choice covers by Blind Lemon Jefferson, Rev. Robert Wilkins and Blind Willie McTell. Si Kahn & The Looping Brothers have teamed up for an extraordinary album that features the best-known songs from this legendary songwriter, author, playwright and activist in a bluegrass setting. The Looping Brothers are one of Europe's most respected and best-loved bluegrass bands. On their joint CD 'Aragon Mill: The Bluegrass Sessions' the Looping Brothers handpicked and arranged the material and cast each of Si's classic songs in a new light. Plus, Sue Massek, best know as the banjoist and singer of Kentucky's Reel World String Band, will perform an excerpt from the one-woman play 'Precious Memories,' written for her by Si Kahn, in which she stars as Eastern Kentucky traditional singer and union songwriter Sarah Ogan Gunning.
