This week Dennis Wholey is learning about Japanese culture while on-location in Tokyo and Kyoto Japan. Through visits to shrines and temples the program explores the incredibly rich and historic culture of Japan while other interviews examine current cultural offerings such as comics, anime and modern art.

Japan, Part V: Life In Japan
This week Dennis Wholey concludes his time in Japan by exploring many different aspects of life in Japan as it is today. Interviews examine everything from food, to the incredible network of trains in Japan and even includes a visit to the Tohoku region and the city of Ishinomaki to learn first-hand about the touching experiences of Japanese citizens during the tsunami 3 years ago. The program shows that life in Japan is tremendously diverse and that the country has a incredible amount to offer to its citizens and visitors.
